Pumps and filters for research

Sager + Mack is a valued partner and supplier for institutes, research facilities, colleges and universities as well as for system manufacturers who build laboratory systems for process technology for technical facilities or pilot plants.

Working safely with chemicals for people and the environment is one of the basic requirements on Sager + Mack pumps and filter technology. Requirement-specific advice and design as well as a flexible modular system, controllable drives and customer-specific adaptations are just a few of the reasons why Sager + Mack is valued in the field of research and development.

Low-maintenance technology allows researchers and technical center employees to concentrate on their research and tests and to optimize the operating costs of the test systems to the same extent.

Pumps for research

High-quality magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps enable safe, emission-free operation under laboratory conditions. The robust construction of the pump heads results in low noise emissions. Clever design features result in low temperatures in the plain bearings, which reduce the energy input into the required media so that they are influenced as little as possible. A unique impeller construction offers the possibility of problem-free conveyance of solid-loaded media with hard or soft particles. With easily controllable pump drives and easily exchangeable impellers, it is possible to set different ratios of delivery rate and delivery pressure with a test setup.

FILTER TECHNOLOGY

Sager + Mack filter technology ranges from coarse filter screens in the millimeter range to the finest filter materials with a filter fineness of 1 µm. This spectrum offers research companies the opportunity to quickly and easily obtain specific results in test series. Solids can be separated from solutions or media can be clarified for further use. Multifunctional filters enable the use of a wide variety of filter elements in order to be able to react flexibly to a wide variety of requirements with one filter unit. The product portfolio ranges from bag filters and disc filters to cartridge filters and adsorbtion filters. Die Sager + Mack filter technology also offers an interesting alternative to the use of suction filters, of which the degree of separation is significantly lower.

FILTER STATIONS-The use of various chemicals in research creates aggressive, health-endangering wastewater that requires treatment. Sager + Mack filter stations help to filter this chemically contaminated waste water. There are many possibilities for the application-specific design of the filter stations, ranging from simple pumps and filter combinations to complex filter systems. Simple and safe operability protects staff and enables trouble-free research.
