Pumps and filters for food industry

The industrial production of high quality food often requires the use of corrosive media, mostly in the field of cleaning technology, but also for upstream or downstream processes (e.g. in wastewater treatment).
Stricter environmental regulations, both in terms of wastewater quality and internal programs for resource-saving production, require technical facilities for wastewater treatment.
In addition, the increased cost pressure in the field of food production, coupled with increasing hygiene requirements, results in increased demands on the operating technology used. Subject areas such as energy efficiency, life cycle costs and downtimes are also becoming increasingly important.

Sager + Mack meets all of these challenges that the food industry is confronted with, with high-quality pump and filter technology for reliable, cost-efficient systems.

.

Food producers as well as process plant builders in the field of food technology appreciate the reliability and quality of Sager + Mack systems. The products are used in the field of cleaning, for conveying and filtering preliminary products and for wastewater treatment.
Metal-free pumps and filters prevent residues of corroded metals in the equipment and ultimately in the food. Coarse solids can also be removed from liquids, such as fine suspended solids or oil-containing emulsions; There is a wide range of possibilities up to filtering with activated carbon.

PUMPS FOR FOOD INDUSTRY

Sager + Mack guarantees you long-lasting pump technology, both for pump heads made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with solid wall thicknesses and high-quality solid plastic material. Both types deliver corrosive media such as brine reliably and without leakage. Thanks to their robust, unique impeller construction, Sager + Mack immersion pumps are ideal for use in pump sumps, in order to pump wastewater contaminated with cleaning agents into suitable filters for reprocessing.

FILTERTECHNOLOGIE – Sager + Mack offers you a large product portfolio of filters- These can be used both during production in upstream processes and in the subsequent gray areas, in which, for example, operating resources or residues from production are re-extracted. The range extends from pre-filtration for water treatment to post-filtration of e.g. filter chamber presses. The objectives are very different, using filters with both coarse and very fine mesh sizes, up to and including activated carbon filtration. Cartridge filters with activated carbon are an optimal solution for keeping production clean.

FILTER STRATIONS

Industrial food production, from the manufacturing of baked goods, confectionery, beverages and their filling, to meat processing, requires the use of reliable filter technology.. In addition to supplying individual filters and filter materials, Sager + Mack also acts as a supplier of complete filter stations. The scope ranges from simple immersion filter units to complex automated filter stations with slurry tanks and digital monitoring.
Sager + Mack SMART-MACK Filter stations can be fully and very easily connected wirelessly to all common process control systems. They are therefore ideal for a subsequent addition in existing system technology.
